The pitch.

A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
The feedback I received on my last pitch was positive. My fellow classmates liked that I mentioned catering to high schools and also universities worldwide. What stood out to them the most, however, was the idea to link users' other social media platforms to their homepages on my app. Both things that I changed received positive feedback. Also, it surprised me that people were able to recognize how I was more comfortable as I delivered my elevator pitch the second time around. It was nice to hear that my hard work paid off.
What did you change, based on the feedback?
The third time around I was even more comfortable in front of the camera than the second. I was also able to memorize what I wanted to say which helped a lot. The pitch was more succinct and to the point since I was able to cut out some of the stuff that didn't matter a whole lot. The comments I received didn't include things to add or change; therefore, I simply focused on delivering my elevator pitch as confidently as possible.
You did a great job on your pitch. The pitch itself was delivered well, and easy to understand. You stated the problem and how you offered a solution in a concise manner. Everything else was well done. The only thing I can really say could have been a bit better was the video volume. It was hard to hear you speaking at some parts of the pitch.
ReplyDeleteBradley, what a great pitch! I think you took your feedback very well and I also think it was delivered very well. I am so awkward when videoing myself and thats why my elevator pitches are never as good when I go back and watch them. I wish I was as comfortable and as confident as you in front of a camera. You did a good job of getting all your points across.
ReplyDeleteHi Bradley! I really like your business idea and I think that it would be very successful, especially at a school like the University of Florida. You did a very good job at making your idea clear and understandable in your pitch. I think sometimes business people can get carried away with useless jargon in their pitches to make it sound engaging, but neglect to actually explain what service or product they are providing. You did a great job with your reflection on your feedback and took your feedback into consideration when creating this pitch. The only critique I have is the volume/tone of your voice. It was hard to understand some parts because you were speaking softly.

ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job. In addition, I think it can be really difficult to record yourself, so I am glad you were consistent from last time by mentioning catering to high schoolers and remaining confident. You definitely seem even more comfortable and confident. It really is true that the third time's a charm and practice can make perfect.
